This Web site has information about resources and issues of importance to people with disabilities. There is some information about Congressional issues, but you have to look by issue (employment or education or health).
AAMR
has a site called RADAR It follows current issues and trends. The "view current issue" has a listing of states with current information on happenings that affect people with mental retardation.
The Consortium of Citizens with Disabilities Web site is totally focused on the Congressional issues.
The National Alliance for the Mentally Ill
Unfortunately the legislative information page isn't readily found so you have to scroll to the bottom of the page, click the site map and then scroll down to policy news and alerts.
The Disability Rights Education and Defense Fund
(DREDF).
The Justice for All Web site is pretty simple in that it lets you subscribe to their newsletter. JFA is the Justin Dart group that follows disability legislation and issues that affect the rights of people with disabilities.
